Learn hands-on skills to confidently care for your pet at home. Our once-a-month, interactive group workshops bring together pet owners, veterinary staff, and students for practical education on a wide range of topics. Whether you’re looking to master new techniques, understand your pet’s health needs, or simply connect with other pet owners, our classes are designed to build your confidence and strengthen your bond with your pet.

How to Register for a Workshop

First come, first serve
Registration for the next workshop opens on the day of our previous event.
Click the “Sign Up Here” button below and fill out our Google Form to register for the current month’s event.
- A confirmation email is sent to you within 24-48 business hours after completion of Google Form.
- More event details & parking info sent 72 hours before each class via email.

Our in-person workshops are held at the UW–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.

Information on accessible parking lots are provided to registrants 72 hours prior to the event. For general parking information and maps on lots close to the SVM, please visit the UW Transportation Services website.

We encourage family members to join, but ask that you either: list multiple names to reserve multiple spots when signing up for the workshop on Google Forms.

We want to ensure enough classroom supplies for all of our participants by having an accurate number of all attendees!

No, our classes are simulation-based, so you won’t need to bring your pet. This allows every attendee to focus fully on learning and practicing techniques in a comfortable, controlled environment. You’ll be able to apply what you learn during group workshops at home with your own pet.
